Delete Your Account
You can delete your Kromacat account and its data at any time, from the Android app, the website, or by email.
1. From the Kromacat app (Android)
- Open Kromacat and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
2. From the website
- Sign in at kromacat.com.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
3. By email
If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@kromacat.com from the address linked to your account and include your username. We complete the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (email and password)
- Your profile: username, display name, bio, avatar and links
- Every photo you uploaded to Grid and Pitch, with their descriptions and tags
- Your Pitch posts, the people you follow, and your purchased Styles
- Support requests and reports you sent
Deletion from our live systems is immediate. Copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
What is kept
Purchase invoices are kept for 7 years because tax law requires it. They are anonymised: no longer linked to you or your account.
Delete some data and keep your account
- A photo — open it in your Grid and choose Delete tile.
- A Pitch post — choose Delete under the post.
- Profile details — edit or clear your display name, bio and links, or replace your avatar, from your Grid or Settings.
- Who you follow — unfollow from their profile.
- People search — turn off Appear in people search in Settings → Privacy.
- Anything else — email privacy@kromacat.com saying which data you want deleted; we do it within 30 days.
Deleted items are removed from our live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
