Purchases Terms

These terms cover the only paid product Kromacat currently offers: one-time Grid Style unlocks. Core features (Grid, Feed, and Pitch) are always free.

Short version: Kromacat does not offer a subscription of any kind. Grid Styles are a one-time purchase — no renewal, no recurring charge, permanent unlock. EU users have a 14-day cooling-off right until a purchased Style is applied to their profile. Free features are never paywalled.

1. What You Can Buy

Kromacat offers a curated library of visual Styles that set the colour palette, typography, and overall look of your public Grid profile. An evergreen collection is available to every user at no cost, always, and is shown first in the Style picker — the free tier is not a demo, it is the product.

A separate set of Styles is available as a one-time purchase, currently priced at $2.99 per Style. Kromacat may from time to time publish Styles tied to a season or cultural moment at a different price (up to $4.99); the price at the time of purchase is always shown before you confirm.

2. One-Time Purchase — No Subscription

Kromacat does not offer a subscription of any kind. There is no auto-renewal, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel. A "Premium" account role exists in the underlying system but is reserved for internal testing and cannot be purchased by any user.

Payment is charged once, at the time of purchase.
The unlock persists for the lifetime of your Kromacat account.
A purchased Style is owned permanently and is unaffected by later price changes.
If your account is deleted, Style unlocks are forfeited and are not refundable on that basis.

3. Payment and Billing

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Kromacat does not store your full card number; all payment data is handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant processor. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT — applicable VAT or sales tax is shown at checkout based on your location.

4. Refunds

To request a refund, email billing@kromacat.com with your account email and order reference. We aim to process eligible refunds within 10 business days.

5. EU Cooling-Off Right — Digital Goods

If you are located in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase of a Grid Style under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.

Important: By applying the Style to your Grid (selecting it in your Grid settings), you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is thereby forfeited, as permitted by Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. You will be asked to confirm this before purchase.

6. Tax & Invoicing

Kromacat issues a VAT-compliant receipt for each purchase, sent to your registered email address.

EU customers: VAT charged at the rate applicable in your country
UK customers: UK VAT charged at 20%
US customers: Sales tax applied where required by state law

7. Price Changes

Kromacat may change Style prices at any time. A price change never affects a Style you have already purchased — it remains yours at no further cost. The price shown at the moment you confirm a purchase is the price you pay.
